Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #15 – A Poor Deer, Babies, and Our Anniversary!

Sunday, April 20th., 2025…… HAPPY EASTER ! Well it was for us for a while!  Here’s the story…..

We woke up and saw that we needed to get moving this morning. We were going to Sweet Home to church and they were serving breakfast beforehand. We wanted to go help, and walked and fed the dogs and left. We were heading out Hwy 20, which is a two lane each way road, with a wide median in the middle. We were talking and then, WHAM – a deer ran across the entire road at high speed. I only just saw it briefly in the windshield before I hit it. I immediately pulled over. We got out and saw the deer was lying in the median. Cathye picked up our car’s body parts and I drug the deer off the highway. The car was damaged beyond driving. I immediately called our insurance company and they got started with the tow request. While we were on the phone, we had several ‘good samaritans’ stop to check on us. We were fine, but the car wasn’t going anywhere. One of the folks said, “You can keep the deer”.  I said I wasn’t interested but they could have it. Cathye talked with them and when I got the call finished, she said they were going to come back with their truck and pick it up. Didn’t see them again, because we only had to wait only about 15-20 minutes. Before the tow truck arrived. The guy had to tow it to our home because it was Easter Sunday and nothing was open. The car took a hit but only on the left front area. I think we were lucky that the deer was young. Also that it didn’t roll up over the hood and into the windshield.  He dropped it off and we came in and recovered. We would end up staying in the rest of the day.

Monday, April 21st., 2025…… This morning we had Pointe Pest Control come for their scheduled 3-month treatment. Besides all the work outside, we had them come in and spray the kitchen and bathroom floors for ants, which have been invading us lately. He finished and left. Later, the adjuster called and we made arrangements for the body shop here in town to do the work. They haven’t called back yet so we don’t have a timeframe. Later, we went to Dos Arbolitos for dinner, then settled in for the evening. Tv, spa and bed.

Tuesday, April 22nd., 2025…… We were up and ready if and when the guy called to come take the car to the body shop. It wasn’t until later in the day when he called and came and got it. It went about 1 ½ miles to Caliber Collision here in town.

I am still waiting for them to call. We went about our day and headed over to catch the last half of the workshop. Did I mention that Cathye is not happy going there sometimes!  When we got home, we worked around the yard for a few minutes. Cathye got some more plants transplanted with new potting soil amended in. I got a text from Caliber saying they received our car. That was it!

Wednesday, April 23rd., 2025…… NEW BABIES TODAY! We are on baby watch today. The doctors said that because Vikki’s placenta wasn’t producing enough nutrition, they would be taking the babies by c section. She is ready! They are scheduled for later in the evening, so we wait….

Jose, the third painting contractor, was supposed to come by today to present his bid. I talked to him later in the day and he said he didn’t have it in his calendar! Not a good sign! But when we discussed paint supplier options, I found he was doing some extra research to make sure he was getting what I asked for and the best of the best. So, no worries. We did manage to pick out a paint color. We found a shed in a lot here in town with exactly the right colors for the body and the trim. I took our Sherwin Williams color wheel over there and found a really good match.

example only - none of these!

Randy texted me with news. His friend Steve, had submitted pics to Mountain Bike Action magazine from their mountain bike trip, and one got published!.....

Way cool!  I have already ordered a copy.

Later, we settled in and watched tv and waited for a call or text. Corey said they were scheduled to go in around 8:00pm. We were hoping that they would hold off so the babies would be born on our anniversary! He texted that they were held up due to an emergency so it looked good for a while. Later, he sent us the first pics. They were born at 10:27 and 10:29pm. Both heathy and mom was doing well. We went to bed knowing we have two more additions to the family!

Thursday, April 24th., 2025…… HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!  The plan today was to go up to Salem to see the kids and the new littles. After walking and feeding the girls, we hit the gym and then went to Kristi’s for breakfast.  Kristi’s was closed so we went on up to Salem and went to Sybil’s for omelettes.  After that, we made our way to the hospital and up to the birthing center. The room was already full with Vikki’s side of the family. Everyone was excited!  We saw the newbies and got to hold them and everything! It was so much fun! They are both healthy, just a little undersized. The baby girl is 4.6 lbs. and the boy is 5.13 lbs. No special treatments for either – just normal fun little babies!  They have their beds right in with momma and family! They are still working over names right now. We know each will have a middle name, maybe more than one!

We left them to rest and headed back home. We rested for a bit before it was time to change and head out for our anniversary dinner. I had chosen Mazzi’s in south Eugene. I had been there before and enjoyed the food and the cuisine. We got there in time for our reservation and got a seat by the fireplace. It was very nice.  The meal was good for me. I chose manicotti. Cathye got their seafood fettucine but didn’t like the sauce on it so much. But we both enjoyed the evening and the time together.

Friday, April 25th., 2025…… The only thing on our agenda today was Rylee’s vet appointment for her annual checkup and shots. I went off and got that done. We wanted to mow today but it was windy and overcast and had rained a little last night, so the grass wasn’t ready. We ended up spending most of the day inside, just lounging and watching tv. I did drive over to Caliber to retrieve Cat’s handicap placard from the car. The lady in the office gave me the keys and said it was in the back lot. I found it was the farthest car parked back there! They had the hood up and I guess had inspected everything. I asked her on the way out if she had a timeline for me, and she said nope!  Later in the evening, Mike and Cheryl came over and we talked, had dessert and played cards. Mike told me about his (or a friend’s) experience with Caliber. They were so backlogged that they said it would be 3 ½ months before they would get their job done!  I am stuck now if that happens! But I will have to wait and see.

Saturday, April 26th., 2025……  Tonight we had a fundraiser to attend in Portland. Cathye has been a supported of the Project Living Hope for Haiti to help get the country some aid. Her friends, Anita and Nick, have a daughter who is married to a doctor and has lived there off and on. They are here now and they are a part of this annual Project Living Hope fund raiser. We had gone before so I knew what to expect.  We headed up early so we could visit with Josh and drop off the sweatshirt he left here last time. On the way up, we got a post from the kids. They have named the babies!  Little baby boy is now Creedence Charles Roger Elliott! Our little girl is Caroline Enid Denise Elliott!

tongues out  ?

After a visit with Josh, we dropped him off at friends

near where we went for our event (Moda Center convention hotel).  Anita sponsored a table of 10. It was a great turnout with 13-14 full tables. In addition to a great dinner, they have items for silent auction, plus a live auction with 6 high ticket items. They also did a few new games. One was called ‘Heads or Tails’ where you purchased necklaces. The more you had, the better your odds. The auctioneer had everyone with necklaces stand up. Then participants select either heads or tails by putting their hands on their head or their bottoms! He flipped a coin (actually he used an app on his smart watch!) which showed heads or tails. If you lost, you removed one of your necklaces. The last one standing got a $250. Amazon gift card.

The other game was a deck of cards raffle. You purchased one or more playing cards, which were torn in half. You kept one half and the other went in for the drawing. Winner got a Blackstone grill. Of course we didn’t win either one, but it was fun and I learned something we could use as games at one of our special Club dances in the future! They also had a ‘spin to win’ game which Cat participated in. This one was an actual commitment to bid dollars for several projects. She contributed to Feed the Children, Sponsor an Athlete, and Buy a Solar Panel for the education center. Our bidder’s number was added to a virtual computer screen wheel and was spun.

Prizes were homemade Haitian items. We didn’t take any prizes or auction items home, but we helped out a great cause. Like I said, it was a fun evening.  Penny and Jody had come over and fed the dogs, but Jama didn’t really eat so she had a ‘late dinner’ before we finally called it a night and went to bed.

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #14 – Yaay, We Can Mow!

Sunday, April 13th., 2025…… We had one more paint estimate today. After we walked and fed the dogs and I went and got breakfast, Cathye went off to church and I waited for Jose to come by. He was the guy who painted Penny’s house and the one next door to her. He was very friendly and I was able to get all my questions asked and answered. Now we wait until we hear back from all three of them. The rest of the day was spent relaxing and watching races for me and Cat’s shows for her. We went out to the spa and relaxed for a bit before bed.

Monday, April 14th., 2025…… The weather is looking great!  Temps in the 70s and no rain in sight (until late Friday night). We went to the gym and then to Kevin’s for breakfast. When we got home, Cathye worked on her gift for Vikki. She found a cute wicker bed table and wanted to clean and paint it. She ordered a sand blaster online and I went to Harbor Freight and bought a can of glass beading. Once we got it assembled and working, she went to work. It took only a few minutes and then she painted it. I think it turned out great! It's hard to see but it's purple!

Meanwhile, I worked on the trailer wheel. This is the little tow trailer that Cat had before. Corey tried to use for his move until we found the flat tire when we pulled it out of the field. The tire had slipped off the bead and I came up with the idea to ratchet strap around the tire to squeeze it so the air could fill the tire. It worked! That will save me $39.00 for a new tire/wheel -  if it holds air. I put it back on the trailer and will check it tomorrow.

We have new roofs going in today! Not us, but the neighbors!  They all three hired roofing contractors to rip off their old roofs and replace them. Paul said his house really needed it. I didn’t know which houses were built first on our block, but he said his was the first and was built in 1999. Rick said his was built in 2000. Ours was built in 2002. We told both Paul and Rick that we were spending our money this year on painting the house and we would most likely tackle the roof next year or so.

Tuesday, April 15th., 2025…… Today we had a meeting with Cat’s financial planner. They have two offices and we chose to drive up to Stayton for today’s meeting. We stopped at Covered Bridge Café for breakfast before heading off to find the office. Cathye got her business done and we headed back home. We got back and ate a quick bite before heading over to our workshop. Charlotte is getting on Cat’s nerves. As I mentioned before, she likes to just dance and Charlotte likes to present special sequences of calls that she has choreographed. She works on them over and over until everyone gets it. I like that but Cat does not!

After class, we stopped by the Fish Express to pick up linner to take home. Tv ad spa and bed.

Wednesday, April 16th., 2025…… Today was car day! We both have appointments for oil changes. I had the Honda and went to the dealer in Albany, while Cathye took the Buick to the Buick dealer, Primasing Motors in town. No issues with either and we met back at the house. We both rested until I had to leave. Today was the last of our Club bylaws meetings. We reviewed and finalized the last draft, which will be presented at the board meeting tonight. After we left, I headed over to meet Sum Yan’s for dinner beforehand. They give us the back room for dinner and then the meeting.  I am glad we finalized the bylaws but was surprised that the Club voted on them at this meeting. Different from what I expected. I assumed that they would post for the member’s review and set up a vote at the next general membership meeting.

Thursday, April 17th., 2025…… The weather is fantastic!  We were up and out to walk and feed the dogs, then headed off to the gym and then to Kristi’s for breakfast. We decided that we would shoot for Friday to mow. Cathye worked on moving her plants out of the planting shed and got them in the ground or in her pots.  I did some weed whacking prior to tomorrow. We had to stop and take the girls in for their grooming but we were both back in the house resting when they called to come get them. Oh yeah, the trailer tire didn’t hold air!  Now I have to go to Harbor Freight to get another one.

Friday, April 18th., 2025…… We were up and going early this morning. The weather is holding up!  Temps today again in the 70s. Yaay!  We walked the dogs and ate and then I got the mowers out and ready. We needed to wait until noon for the dew to burn off the grass. Penny came over and we got started.  She took the field and Cat did the lawn around the house.  It was surprisingly easy. I bagged the area close to the garage as well as around the blueberry cage and dumped that.  For the rest of the yard and field, we would set the blades at the highest setting (4”) so could get through the high grass. After we cleaned up, we all went to Kristi’s for lunch. When we got back, we rested for the afternoon. Since we had a late lunch and Cat was full, I had some munchies and we got dressed and headed over to Albany for the Plus Alliance dance. Cathye hasn’t finished with Plus level calls yet, but she likes to go and sit and visit with everyone. We got back and watched some tv before bed.

Saturday, April 19th., 2025……  Another great day!  We saw that there was a chance of rain later today, but it never happened. The plan today was to head up to the kid’s house to take them two of our patio chairs and to pick up the landscaper trailer. We stopped first at The Original Pancake House and had their apple pancake special. That was a treat we don’t get often!  We dropped off the chairs and visited with Corey and Vikki for a bit. Turns out we were there just before the baby shower!  Cathye thought it was rescheduled. Plus, they are still only halfway to moving in, and had the trailer still full of stuff. So, we left early to let them have their party.

Later, we dressed and headed off to our Club dance. It was poorly attended with only 2 squares, but that was ok, it was still fun. When we left, it was raining. So glad we mowed yesterday!

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #13 – Yard Work and Plumbing!

Sunday, April 6th., 2025…… The rains came back this morning!  I had already put away the mower so we were good. Of course, our neighbors took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and mowed their lawns again, But we still can’t!  The next several days won’t help either!  I was up and out to get us coffee and breakfast while Cat showered and walked and fed the girls. After that, we had nothing the rest of the day. Our class is finishing up their Plus lessons tonight and are going to pizza afterwards, but since Cat has missed 4 out of the 7 lessons, she can’t go back until next time. So, we just chilled today and had dinner and watched tv til bedtime.

Monday, April 7th., 2025…… Today was gym day. I am still showing for afib, but I want to stay active and the gym was perfect for that! I did limit my workout but felt good. The rains are back so we can’t get out and do much outside. We still need to finish moving the mulch from the raised bed to the blueberries. Our wheelbarrow is full of rainwater, so we won’t get to that today!  So, we just hung around the house all day and rested. But we did manage to get out to lunch. We met Judy and Lynn at the bowling hour bar for Taco Monday. We had a few drinks and made plans to go to the American Legion on Thursday.

Tuesday, April 8th., 2025…… I am feeling much better. I think I’m back to normal. My tester shows unclassified, so I think I’m good. Cathye was going to go up to Salem to help Vikki unload boxes and get settled in. She also wants to double check with them about getting a wardrobe cabinet of their choosing for their closet. My plan was to go to class today. Cathye decided to not go up to Salem and would go with me as well. She still has some issues with the way she was treated in class last week, but she wants to go see if there is any animosity.  We went early so we could visit with those having lunch. No issues. She hugged it out with one of the ladies and they are good.  We left right after class because we have a meeting at 4:00pm for an estimate for painting the house. Trevor and his company were found on our local website and he came by today. It was the first so I have to be sure to ask all the questions and then keep them the same for the other guys. It went well.

Wednesday, April 9th., 2025…… Weather is holding up so far today. There is sun so we decided to go out and work on the raised bed some more. Cathye raked up the bed around the plants and I hauled six wheelbarrow loads of mulch out to the blueberries and, after Cat spread that out,

we were done for the day. Today, it was Travis who came to check out the house and build info for his bid.  It went well and I learned to ask for a few more specific items to be included. For example, we have board and batten on the shop and rv garages, which need to be caulked in. He specifically addressed that because it is time consuming (labor).  I don’t think we covered that with Trevor for his bid so I will have to go back and get that adjusted.

Thursday, April 10th., 2025…… I was up early and let Cat sleep. I could only take Rylee out because Jama won’t leave the warm bed with her Grammy! Once she was up and going, we headed off to the gym and then to Kristi’s for breakfast. Today is our back to back massage appointments 1:15pm and 2:30pm.  Problem is that today Cathye made plans to go to the Senior Center for a tea with Lynn and Judy. It is at 2:00pm so the only thing we could do was text Emily and ask that Cathye shorten her time to ½ hour so she could make her tea. I went at the 2:30 time and then came back home. Cathye was done by then. We fed the dogs and then headed into town to the American Legion. We were meeting Lynn and Judy there for dinner. Tonight was Jam Session. The girls have applied for auxiliary membership and Cathye applied tonight. She said I should join so I already had my DD214 in my wallet and went in to the office and got in. After that we had dinner and danced

before leaving. Later, it was tv and then bed.

Friday, April 11th., 2025…… The weather is getting better! We were forecast for only one or two days of rain before the sun would be out for more than a day!  That’s great news because we are itching to work out in the yard!  I have the truckster running and the mowers are charged and ready to go. I still need to fix the trailer tire and also the leak in the wall shutoff for the shop’s outdoor spigot. But first up was a run to Costco. We did that and got back and started in working. Today I tackled the plumbing. Walt had installed a shower type valve system and had both hot and cold water running out to the mixing valve out by the garage door. I guess he planned on using it for washing his cars or maybe hot water for his pressure washer.  We’ve had issues with it for years. First off, there wasn’t a hot water heater in the shop garage until I put one in years ago. Then I discovered that the old cvpc pipes were too small to get adequate water pressure to the valves.  Then, recently, those pipes (no longer to code) started leaking slightly. A few days later, I went out and found it had burst and was shooting all over the garage! The water was turned off out there until we got back from our trip. Since that line is no longer good, I needed to cap it off  and went and found the parts and got it done. So far, so good. Right before I got started on the plumbing, we drained the spa and cleaned it. Cathye had already got new filters and I kept track of the water inflow while I was removing the leaky valve.  Later, we ate dinner and watched tv. We had checked and found the spa was already up to temp, so we hit that before going to bed.

Saturday, April 12th., 2025…… Another nice sunny and dry day! We were up and going and had the girls walked and fed. We ate then went out to do some more yard work. For me, it was trimming up the grapevines and hauling them out to the burnpile.  Cathye worked on getting the potting soil out of her plants and we added that to the raised bed.

Yes, the one we just emptied! But this is a richer potting soil and the stuff we moved out was compost and was only stored there for the winter to protect the beds. It was a nice day and we both took turns sitting out and resting on the porch in the warm weather. Of course, Jama loves to lay out there with us and soak up the sun. We have about half of the patio furniture in place. We still need to get the couches set up and the pillows out of storage and back on, but we will wait until we are sure the rains are gone. Later, we came in and rested and ate a light dinner and changed into our square dance clothes. We headed over to Sweet Home for their dance. They start at 6:30 with rounds and squares are from 7:00 to 9:00. That works better for us and we plan on suggesting that our Club do the same if we can at our dances. When we got home, we had a nice soak in the spa for a bit before calling it a night.

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #12 – A Week of Projects and Recovery

Sunday, March 30th., 2025…… After a tough first few minutes in bed, I gave up and went in to my room to use my recliner again. I had already taken some Tylenol Pm and followed that up with some Nyquil. Once I got settled in, I fell asleep and got the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time! I woke up this morning feeling that I had some energy and didn’t seem to be coughing as much. Fingers crossed! After a shower, I went to get us breakfast (Tony’s breakfast burritos) and coffee (Starbucks) while Cat walked and fed the girls. Then it was rest and tv for the morning and afternoon. I felt a lot better and Cat said so did she. Later, we left to go to dinner with Cherrelyn and Penny. We took them their gifts and we had a nice meal at Pizza Schmizza. After a bit, we all left and we came home for the rest of the evening to work on the blog and watch our taped programs until bedtime.

Monday, March 31st., 2025…… Nothing on the agenda for today. The weather is not too bad. It rained yesterday for most of the day but it’s lightened up for the most part today. The forecast for the week is rain on and off up until Thursday, and from then on, it’s supposed to warm up and dry out!  We are still about half recovered. Cathye maybe more than me. I’ve lost 15 lbs. and I think some stamina as well. Just tired most of the time. Of course the coughing wears me out. But it’s lessor each day. We worked on some small projects around the house. Cathye is working on her scrapbook and has been ordering things online like stickers and such. She had over 300 photos printed that she is cutting up for the book. Lots of work but it is looking great so far!  Tv and bed. No spa - we have not been diligent on maintaining the spa since we’ve been home, so we now decided to drain it and clean it and refill it. That will have to wait until the weather gets a bit warmer.

Tuesday, April 1st., 2025…… We both have haircuts today. Oh yeah, I am feeling so much better!  I have been able to sleep at night now so that helps. I have a delivery today from UPS. I gave up on my old printer and decided that, rather than spend a fortune on ink cartridges, I would get a new one with eco tanks to help save ink. I ordered it online from Costco and UPS will deliver it today. It was at the house when we got back from our haircuts. I wasn’t up to going to the sq dance workshop today, but Cathye did. I stayed home and rested and set up the printer. So far, so good! Cathye had a rough time at class today. She said she struggled with direction from a few dancers and got upset with them. I enjoy the challenge at this workshop. There are folks who only go on Tuesday afternoons and don’t dance anywhere else. They need the attention and I’m happy to help. We have Club angels, like me, who try to help. Sometimes they get a little nasty in direction, which is a pet peeve for Cat!  That happened to her today. She says she just wants to do the calls and move on. So, she may lose interest in going there in the future!  We ate a light dinner and watched tv until bedtime.

Wednesday, April 2nd., 2025…… Weather is cooperating again!  We are already seeing signs of Spring around the yard!  We have several flowers blooming

and we have wanted to mow to get the grass down and then work on the garden beds again. But it is still too wet to start any of those projects right now. We need several days of sunny skies to help out!  We also are taking the time to walk around the house and see how the house paint is doing. This winter didn’t help any and the rains have taken their toll on some of the areas. So, we are now rethinking our plans for the summer because we need to get the house painted. Of course nothing is easy. We have some dry rot areas that will need work, and areas around the windows that will need to be replaced. We will start next week to get bids. Cathye is also working with our landscaper that we had last year to clean up for the fall. He will be coming out tomorrow to talk more about what we need and hopefully, we can develop a plan going forward.

Thursday, April 3rd., 2025…… We were up and going early this morning. We had the dogs walked and fed so we would have time to go meet our neighbors for breakfast. Rich and Linda met us at 9:00am at Kristi’s. They had previously been to New Zealand and were curious to see what we thought. We had a nice meal and visit. We took two cars because Cat had an appointment with her doctor this morning, and I drove the truck over to Lowe’s to get some more bags of rock salt. I got back first and unloaded and came in. Cat said she had a great visit and was doing well. No issues and he told her she looked to be on the road to getting back to before her log covid hit her. Our landscaper came by and brought his pit bull pup. Three years old and all muscle and fun!  He and Rylee had a ball running and playing in the yard. He and Cat worked out a plan for maintenance and will start tomorrow. Meanwhile, I was busy with running battery chargers on the truckster and one of the mowers. They will trickle charge tonight because we want to use the truckster tomorrow to work in the yard.

Friday, April 4th., 2025…… We slept in a bit but got going with the dogs and then ate our leftovers for breakfast.  I found that one of my battery chargers is no good because it failed to charge the truckster. So, I needed to use the other one and start over. Cathye went out to prune up some shrubs and clean out her raised bed. She started out with the wheelbarrow but we decided to wait until the truckster was available to haul the mulch to another location in the yard. I got the mower running and out and put the tow wagon on it so we could continue while the truckster was charging. We managed to get 5-6 loads moved from the raised beds to the blueberry cage.

It was tough to back the trailer in, so we went back to the wheelbarrow. A little while later, our guy showed up and dropped off a helper who, for today, is going to spray all of the weeds around the house, driveway cracks, and French drain. We decided to do about half the work today and called it when we were pooped out!  We changed and went to J&C barbeque and split a ribeye with drinks. It was a nice reward for our labors today!  Tv and bed.

Saturday, April 5th., 2025…… Today we have a lot of things on our plates. Cathye has Omalea coming over for lunch, so we needed to vacuum and pick up around the house. We also needed to set the patio furniture back out. I think we are good to go now with the weather and winds. Trouble started this morning when I checked my afib device. It shows me back in possible afib!  Damm. I checked it three or four more times and got the same readings.  So, when Cathye got up, I told her and we talked. It makes sense since I haven’t been up to par with energy these last few weeks. I try to use the testing device at least two or three times a week. I should have checked it sooner. So, she decided to just meet up with Omalea for lunch and let me rest. I still want to finish the raised bed and may do that later if I feel better. There is nothing really obvious except that I might feel light headed when I stand up. That has been the case this past week. And I just don’t have the stamina to do much. I will get a message to my cardiologist on Monday, but in the meantime, I will continue to monitor myself. Later, Cathye called and said that David was also with Omalea, and did I want to join them?  So, I drove to Ixtapa and had a nice lunch and visit with them. After that, Cathye left to go up to Salem to help Cory and Vikki move into their new place. They were here the other night and borrowed my landscaper trailer and they also had a rental van, so they had everything there at the new place. Cathye says it’s nice and almost new. Hopefully, with everyone living there, it will work for them.  When she got home and rested, she decided that she would make brownies for the Hippie Dance tonight. Later, we got dressed up and headed over. My plan was to take it easy and just visit tonight, which I ended up doing. We did win the best couples costume award and I tied with another guy for the best male winner.

Later, when we got back home, Cathye was tired and went to bed, while I stayed up for an hour more to watch Mecum Auctions.  Last week I was frustrated because Mecum broadcasting moved to ESPN+, which I don’t have and don’t want to pay the $126.99 per year to get!   But, I discovered that they were rebroadcasting the episodes days later on You Tube, which I do already have. So, for the last few days, I am getting caught up on the Glendale auction.  Finally got sleepy and headed off to bed.
