Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #23 – Celebrating a Birthday and Father’s Day, and then a Party at Our Place!

Sunday, June 15th., 2025……  HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERRELYN!   HAPPY FATHERS DAY! The plan today was to go over to Penny’s to celebrate Cherrelyn’s birthday and Father’s Day as well. It was a fun afternoon!  Penny gave her a collapsible tent for her backyard to help protect against bugs on her patio. We got it set up ok. But the real fun came when we had to fold it back up to fit in the bag!  I think it took 4 of us a ½  hour just for that!  But it was fun anyway!

Monday, June 16th., 2025…… We had heard from Treasa last week. Bill is now in home hospice. She shared that most of his stints have collapsed and he’s not doing well. He will turn 82 in July.  She has kept me posted each day. Going downhill. Treasa is hanging in there. Family is close by.  It made me think about all of the great times I had with Bill before we all moved out of Calif. Many rv trips. Many dances and meetings. And rv shows where we would both slobber on the expensive rigs! So many fond memories. Sure hope for the best.

Cat and I have been looking at leather jackets on Facebook Marketplace. And today we went just down the road to look at one.  It was nice and the price was good – but it was a little too small. Too bad - but it gives us a guide to what size to look for in the future.

Tuesday, June 17th., 2025……  Today was more yard work and the workshop. I showed Cathye a couple of jackets on FB, and she is in contact with a lady in Stayton. They made plans to meet at 3:30 today. So, she will pick me up after the workshop and we’ll drive out to check it out. Ok, it’s later now – we met up with the lady who actually had 3 jackets. Turns out both her and her hubby had CanAm Spyders. They moved on to a motorhome (coincidentally, almost a twin of ours!) so they were selling the jackets. They were ridiculously priced - $20 & $25 each. Two fit so we bought both of them!

We talked about the great deal we just got all the way home!  We went back to work a bit on the yard and spread more of the bark mulch. I think I'm only about halfway through the pile so far!

What we have put down needed to be blown back in place so Cat took care of that. Rylee (and Mr. Quackers) watched!

Wednesday, June 18th., 2025……  I heard from Treasa early this morning. She said Bill had  passed peacefully in his sleep last night. Nick came over and it was a long night.  Sad news. Bill holds a very special place in my life and was always a great friend. I have many great memories with him and Treasa and he will truly be missed.

We want to mow today. It was not too hot out but the grass was drying out nicely. It would be good to mow around noon so that’s when I told Penny to come over. I had the mowers out and got them all gassed up and ready with the baggers attached. But before I could put the one on my zero turn, I noticed that Rick had gone down to Lou’s house and was mowing there!  So I got my gear on and took the zero turn down there. We split the yard with me mowing the main lawn. It was so high that I wasn’t able to get a nice clean cut but it is better than it was! Once that was done, I came back and rested for a few minutes before starting in on our lawn. Penny came over and the girls mowed the main lawn and bagged it, while I worked on the lawn on the west side of the driveway. Together we got it done in a few minutes. The only thing to do now is to set up the popups and the small canopy. The rest of the campers wanted me to wait until they got there so they could help so we were done for the day.  Later, I was in my room resting and watching tv when Cat texted, asking where I was. I said in my room and she asked where the truck was?  Oops, it dawned on me then! Yesterday, Cat picked me up at the senior center and we drove to get her jackets. We were so excited about them that I forgot to stop and pickup my truck!  We jumped in the Buick and headed over, all the time I'm thinking that the $45.00 jackets price just went up if they towed the truck and I would have to pay to get it out of impound! But, when I turned the corner I was very relieved to see it was still there! Whew!

Thursday, June 19th., 2025…… We have time this morning to bring out and set up more things for the party. I got all of the ice chests out and Cathye got the drink server out and ready. She wants to make some kind of herb tea thingy.  I think we are ready!  Mike showed up first with his rig and got plugged in and set up. Maryanne told Frank that she smelled something musty or rank in their fifth wheel and she doesn’t want to camp in it until he finds and fixes it, so they won’t be camping with us this time. But they came over later as did Cheryl who was working their vendor booth at the street market today. The girls have split up the cooking assignments. Tonight, Cathye made her famous chicken pot pie and the girls brought side dishes and desserts. We first played Pegs and Jokers. Mike and Cheryl knew it and Frank and Maryanne quickly learned it. We played guys against the girls and the guys barely squeaked out victory!  We then played that new card game that we had learned last week. It’s called Swoosh. We all enjoyed the evening.

Friday, June 20th., 2025…… Today we started out with breakfast for the four of us. Cheryl brought eggs from their chickens and we had sausage and fruit and cinnamon buns and coffee. It was yummy!  Later, we sat in the house and watched it rain!  No one was going out today to set up popups and canopies!  It really came down!  Now we have to rethink our plans. I’m sure the yard will still be too wet for the awnings so I plan to put them on the gravel area by the raised beds. That is if the weather clears!  We hung around the house together most of the day and visited.  Frank and Maryanne came over later and it was Cheryl’s turn for dinner. She made an enchilada casserole and the girls provided the side dishes. We started the evening playing Mexican Train. Maryanne made domino carriers and we all tried them out. Shaun and Lila made it here around 7:30 and got set up with their trailer. We saved them dinner. Later, we all played Swoosh until it was time to quit and call it a night.

Saturday, June 21st., 2025…… Same scenario as yesterday with the weather. It rained really hard most of the day. The forecast is for clearing skies later today. Frank and Maryanne were no shows this morning. Shaun and Lila made eggs and we had a nice breakfast. The coffee pot took a crap and we had to improvise. But we managed. Time for another one! We hung around the house until it was time to go down to Brownsville for the Pioneer Days celebration. Shaun was doing an exhibition dance for the Squarenaders and they always welcome our Club to come help. We ate lunch there and danced from 2:00 to 3:30, then came back home. Later, we all played Swoosh again. This was the first weekend that Shaun and Lila had seen the game, but they have quickly picked it up and were beating all of us for a while!  The weather finally is showing signs of clearing up. But we will decide tomorrow what to set up and where.

Here are pics from the weekend so far….

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #22 – Finishing Up From the Festival & Yard Work Week

Sunday, June 8th., 2025……  We got in some great sleep last night but didn’t want to get up this morning!  But we got up at 6:00am because we had to put together and bake the breakfast casserole for the cleanup party this morning. I was sous chef and cooked the sausage and beat the eggs. We had both of them in the oven in a few minutes. We got the rest of our stuff ready and headed out, stopping by the store for orange juice. When we got there, some folks were already working to clean up the hall. We had posted 8:30 so when it was time, we called everyone over to the serving table. I think everyone enjoyed this meal. It turned out to be a tasty hit! We had the rest of the work done in an hour or so and we were home by 10:30am.. We unloaded and we were done for the day and for the week!  The only thing I did today after that was turn the water on for the lawn area outside the guest room window. That is the only lawn we have that’s not irrigated. Yet!  Like I said, we rested for the whole day! It was nice!

Monday, June 9th., 2025…… The rest of this week we’ll be working on the yard and the house, getting ready for our yard party this weekend. Last year we had three rvs camped here on Thursday thru Sunday. We hosted them for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights. On Saturday we all went to Brownsville for a square dance exhibition and on Sunday we bbq’d for the whole Club who came for the day and the board meeting.  This year we think we will have at least as many rvs, maybe more. So, we needed to spruce up the yard and flower beds and clean the weeds up in the gravel driveways and just make it look nice for them. We had already mowed the lawn but we will do that again on Thursday or Friday. Justin has been coming over and doing the weed whacking and burning the weeds after. He does an incredible job and is very thorough. We went to the gym and breakfast and got started for today. Cathye left for a while to go with Lyn and Judy to Lyn’s dr. for some tests.

Tuesday, June 10th., 2025……  Today we take the bike back in for the rest of the work. They have tires and wheels going on as well as the rear brakes. But first up was Brandyn and Baylee’s graduation! We drove to Salem and got to the school and saved seats for Corey and Vikki and the babies. The ceremony started at 8:00am!  It was really cute. They called it a ‘promotion’ to the 6th grade. The schools up here go 1st through 5th in grade school, 6th thru 8th in middle school, and 9th thru 12th in high school. So, today was their promotion.

Afterward, we came back home and got the bike.  Cathye followed me and we got it checked in. I also made mention of the serious oil leak. They are responsible and will have to fix that. We drove back home.  I left for the workshop and Cat continued in the yard.  Later, I got a text message that the bike was ready - but it was too late to go today.

Wednesday, June 11th., 2025……  We walked and fed the dogs then headed out to go get the bike. We stopped at The Covered Bridge in Stayton before going to Sublimity. They had all the work completed and said they found they had over-torqued the crush washer on the drainplug causing the leak.  On the way home, we stopped by the Oregon DMV and got the title change done. They are only working here in Lebanon three days a week so it was take-a-number for everyone!  I think we waited 35-40 minutes but they only had two folks working because we got there around lunch time. Cathye picked up a motorcycle brochure and when we go to the counter, she asked about what kind of license she will need for a three wheeler. I have a standard (two wheel) motorcycle endorsement on my license so I’m good. They said she would only need to take a written test for her type of endorsement.  We headed back home and did more yard work. Oh yeah – Cathye took her first spin on her new toy!  She only rode it up and down the driveway and just up and down our street so she didn't use her helmet.

She said she’s a little intimidated but so was I! It does require a different technique than a two wheeler!

Thursday, June 12th., 2025…… Today the girls go to the spa! Cathye had so I got them to the groomers and went to pick them up while Cathye was at the quilt store working with her friends on a quilt. There are several square dance club members who go every Thursday to the shop where they have classes and such. They are all experienced so they meet at the worktables to socialize and work on their own projects. Today Cat went to get some help starting her newest quilt. I think she spent most of the day just cutting pieces but she had fun.

Friday, June 13th., 2025…… Mowing today. The weather has turned out to be a little cooler. Temps in the 70s so we needed to wait until noon for the grass to dry out a bit. It has grown too much to easily bag today so we blew the grass instead. We will need to go back next week before the party and do another round and bag then. Penny came by and we got it all done in about an hour and a half. After that, we rested and cooled off before calling it a day. Later, we got the bike out and went over to Mike and Cheryl’s house for dinner and cards. Cat made a chicken pot pie and we found we could pack it in a heat bag and stow it in the bike’s frunk with no problem. It would be the first time we rode at night so we were looking forward to that. We had a nice meal and learned Swoosh! It was really fun and Cathye was the night’s winner! We left and had a nice ride home. I have a leather jacket and Cat double layered so she was good as well. We will start looking on Facebook Marketplace for used ladies leather jackets.

Saturday, June 14th., 2025…… No dances or other events planned for today, so we had it pretty easy. We did work on the yard. Justin is still working 3-5 hours here off and on and is making great progress. Cathye has plants to move around and stuff. We got a text about going to a dance tonight but neither of us was up to it, so we passed. Tv and bed.

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #21 – A Really Busy Week!

Sunday, June 1st., 2025……  After  we were up and going and had breakfast, Cat headed off to church. Today was Kaynor and Nick’s Garden Party. We had chips and dip and grabbed our chairs and headed over. They are only about 6 minutes from us, in Sodaville. They had games set up and most played for a few hours, the rest sat around and visited. After a potluck meal, we headed back because we needed to feed the dogs. We settled in for the evening.

Monday, June 2nd., 2025…… After walking and feeding the girls, we headed out to the gym and then to Kevin’s. When we got back, I immediately called again to our insurance company. I expect to pick up the bike this week so I needed to get it added to our policy. Trouble is they don’t insure bikes under the blanket policy. Also, our agent retired 5 years ago, so our new guy wants to do a price check and get back to us. Our homeowners and car policies are due, so he is going to re-review them for better rates. I also spent some time with Sirius Radio getting our Buick’s switched. That guy also reviewed and merged our other contracts (Cat had one on the truck in her old name) and we added the Honda this time and still managed to get a nice price break as a bundle. I finished the Indy Car, Nascar and Motocross races today as well. They recently moved the Nascar Cup Series to Prime Tv. We have Prime, so it’s free but it’s so hard to watch and replay. Nascar is losing fans left and right these days anyway and this will not help those folks who don’t have or can’t afford a pay per view station. Hope they change back soon!

Tuesday, June 3rd., 2025…… Not much on the agenda today. Weather is heating up!  Temps are in the 80s right now but it will be in the 90s by the end of the week.  I went to the square dance workshop but that was about it. Cathye has been busy working on her scrapbook from the cruise and she finished it today. It really looks great!  She set it up showing our day-to-day so folks can see our trip.

Later, we went out to Chef Rick’s Global Kitchen (formerly Kento’s) and had dinner. Our friend Rick wasn’t there. I am sorry to say we didn’t really enjoy the meal. They had run out of steak so we had chicken and shrimp with noodles. The chicken was burnt and the shrimp was overcooked. Not a good meal. While we were there, we planned out our weekend. We are going over on Thursday to Rachel’s where the Club’s parade float is being moved to. Rachel is close to the parade starting point, so it’s a perfect place to set up and decorate the float. On Friday, we’re having a dance at the senior center. As a matter of fact, we have the center for the entire weekend! Our biggest dance of the year is Saturday. We have two silent auctions to plan for. On Friday, they will auction off baked goods. On Saturday, we will have over 100 items out and available for silent bids. We also have the parade going. Busy, busy!  I got a call and text from our insurance guy. He set up our policy for the bike, so we are good to go, at least for that. More next week when our policy hits it’s review date.

Wednesday, June 4th., 2025…… We slept in this morning. Once we had the dogs walked and fed, we each worked on our own projects. I wanted to cut out the pine shrub that is out in Cathye’s garden area. It is out of control and taking over the area, so she wants it out. While I was getting tools out for that, she worked on the tree next to our driveway. It has been doing poorly for the past year. Most of the branches have mossed over and have died. But we can  see there is still life left, so she decided we needed to prune it. I helped her with the larger branches and we got those out to the burn pile. The pine shrub removal went well and we had that cut down and out on the burn pile in a few minutes. It was getting hot so we were pretty much done for the day.

Thursday, June 5th., 2025…… HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARYANNE!  Once we were up and going, we walked and fed the girls and headed out to breakfast. We decided to skip the gym today. We went to Kristie’s for breakfast. When we parked we saw Rick coming out with coffee, heading down to his restaurant. We told him we missed him. He asked how everything was – and I told him! Sorry, Rick.  While we were there, I called about the bike. They had the oil changed and have the brake parts, but she said they were still waiting for the tires. They won’t be in until Tuesday. I asked if I could come get it and then bring it back then. We came back home and let the dogs out, and I picked up my helmet and then headed up and I rode the bike home. It was the first time I had ridden it!  It took some time to get used to, but I got it home with no issues.

When we got home, Cathye planned out her needs to bake two strawberry rhubarb pies, one for our potluck and one for the bake auction. She needed rhubarb so she went out looking for that. Luckily, she made calls before leaving the house. All of the produce stands had an early crop and were all out, so she ended up going to the farmer’s market, hoping one of the locals had some.  We had massage appointments so she had just enough time to stop there and check before hers. Success!  Later, when I put the bike away, I noticed that I had oil leaking from the drain plug!  I will have to keep on that and get it fixed next week.

Later, we took the bike over to Rachel’s. Frank, our float coordinator, needed to see it before okaying it for the parade. The plan is for us to be in square dance outfits and ride out in front. We have an older banner that I can turn into a flag for the bike. We got the float done while Rachels’ roommate was grilling chicken for us. It looks great! We headed back home and we were done for the night!

Friday, June 6th., 2025…… Tonight we have the potluck and dance. There are several folks coming in today to dry camp in the senior center parking lot. No hookups and it will be hot, so we are passing on that!  We agreed to help bring over all of the items for the silent auction so we took two vehicles and went over to Kaynor’s to get all of that. Once we dropped it off, we met up with the rest of the group who all pitched in to set up the hall. We also do a vintage square dance clothing sale and all of the racks and tables have to be set up for that as well. But there were probably 20 folks there, so it only took a few hours to get everything ready. We came home and Cathye baked her two pies. We rested until it was time to change and head over. The meal was good and well attended. There was a lot of interest and bids on both the silent auction items and the baked goods. At the end of the evening, Cat’s pie sold for $17.00! Since we will be back tomorrow, we didn’t need to clean up anything except the kitchen. We got back home and called it a night. We were beat!

Saturday, June 7th., 2025……   I was up and going early this morning. I went into town and got oil for the bike and topped it off. Today is the parade. Frank said he would check in both vehicles at 7:30am. If he ran into a problem, he would call. We had breakfast and waited and called him at 10:00am. They were staged and gave me the location. We got dressed and left. I wore my Club shirt but decided that it was too hot for long pants and shoes. So, I chose shorts and sandals. Cat tried to dress cool but needed to wear her petticoat. We wore our helmets but took hats to wear during the parade. Cathye even brough an umbrella and cooling packs for behind her seat!  We got there and swapped out the hats and Cat put on her petticoat. We were ready!  The parade went well. I think it took maybe an hour for the ride. It got really hot at the end so we were glad when we finished!  We saw a lot of friends including Penny who took these pics....

We helped un-decorate (!) the float and then went home.  Cathye needed to make two cakes for our strawberry shortcakes for tonight.  We were only there for a short time before Penny and Cherrelyn came over. We wanted to celebrate Lydia’s birthday. But since the town bars were busy today, we met at the house. Cat’s nephew, Justin, is a brewmaster at Barsidious and has given us several of his latest batches. We brought out our flight glasses and sampled and toasted Lydia. She would have been 74 today. After a nice visit, we dressed again and headed back to the potluck. Tonight it was a potato bake. We only had to provide bacon bits (Costco).  We ate then I went over to pay. Cat said she didn’t want to dance tonight because she was tired. She said she wanted to go home and rest while I stayed and danced. She left and then I decided to also cut the night short. I called her and she came back and got me. We were in bed and asleep before 10:00!

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #20 – A Long Trip, Getting the Bike Serviced and a Party to Meet the Babies!

Sunday, May 25th., 2025…… Our original plan was to stay in Bakersfield Saturday and Sunday and drive home on Monday. But, on the way down, we rethought that! We will now only stay on Saturday and drive back towards home today. Last night when we checked in, I asked about cancelling the second night. They said that since I booked (and paid) it through a third party (Expedia), I would need to get back with them to request a refund. It was easier than I thought and later they called the Hampton and had them change the reservation to only one night. I then made a new reservation at The Red Lion in Redding. So that said, we were up and going early. Stan came to the hotel and ate with us. Then we followed him back to his house, where we loaded up the bike. It took a few extra minutes just to make sure the load was secure.

We thanked and said our goodbyes to Stan and headed out. I was a little nervous to get going and carefully watched the bike on the trailer. But it was definitely secure and we had no issues. We made our way up 99 and I5 to Redding, which was 444 miles. It took us around 8 hours because we stopped a few times for gas and a roadside stand. We checked into the Red Lion and they also had a giant parking lot where I could back the trailer in for the night. Plus it was up against a curb so it protected the trailer and bike a little better! And, again, we could see it from our room!  We walked next door to the Mazatlán Grill for dinner. One of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever been to! On the way back, we stopped by the pool and spa area. This Red Lion is huge so it was expected that the pool would be crowded. Too crowded for us so we went to the room for the night. We will be up and going super early tomorrow!

Monday, May 26th., 2025…… Like I said, super early!  We were up and at the hotel’s breakfast buffet at 6:00am! We were on the road by 6:30. The drive home was uneventful. The traffic was moderate but luckily there were no accidents along our route. It was really hard to watch all of the vehicles scream on past us while we were booking along at 60-63 mph! But it was fine and we made the 360 mile 6½ hour drive and back got back home around 1:00pm. When we got home, we found Corey and Vikki had come by to get the landscape trailer so they could go pick up a bed for them. The plan was to come back here and drop off Corey so he could work around the yard for some extra cash. But they forgot to tie down the mattress and they lost it on the highway!  Cathye had to go help them and brought some ratchet straps so they could continue/ It was getting late, so they decided to hold off on the work here today. We got all of our clothes and things unloaded and rested for a while. Penny came over to see the bike. As I said before, it will stay on the trailer until we take it in for service on Thursday. We had to call Stan because we couldn’t figure out how to get the ‘frunk’ open!  Turns out you needed to pull on the door as you turned the ignition key hard to the right!  We wanted to get to the owner’s manual so we could look through it before we drive it after service. Later, Cathye brought back a Papa Murphy’s pizza for dinner and we cooked that. Later, we rested and caught up on some of our taped shows and we went to bed early!

Tuesday, May 27th., 2025…… It was nice sleeping in our own bed last night!  We stayed in there until 8 something then got up and going. We walked and fed the girls and I went to get us breakfast since we didn’t have much in the house. After that, Cathye worked on her garden and I set out to fix the ramps for Thursday. The one I used for the single rear wheel bent so I needed to straighten that up. I decided to bolt two together for when we unload it off the trailer. That went well and then I added some more support and stops for all of the ramps so they couldn’t slide any when we use them in the future. I was done for the morning. The plan for later was to go to the demo at the Senior Center. But Corey and Vikki came over to bring back the trailer and Corey would work in the yard. They brought everyone and Brandyn helped his dad and Bailey took Rylee out to play in her pool while the rest of them stayed in the ac in the house. But we got to visit with the newbies. Both Creedence and Caroline are doing great!  They are gaining weight quickly. Of course we held them and fed them. I told Cathye she should just skip the demo and stay with the kids while I went.  Good thing I went because we just had enough for one demo square! When I got back, Corey was about half done. So, we had some more time with the kids. Bailey is a big help and seems to like taking care of her little sis and bro! After a nice visit and after Corey ran out of batteries for the weed wacker, they left. We ate leftover pizza and relaxed for the evening.

Wednesday, May 28th., 2025…… Today we go pick up our car!  They had texted us that it was in and ready and I had made the appointment for a test drive and purchase for noon today. We didn’t walk the dogs today. Rylee was limping really badly this morning! We know she had fun yesterday but we think while jumping in and out of the pool, she must have pulled a muscle. It was better as she got up and going but we made her take a rest day! We ate breakfast and then hung around the house for a bit. CarMax texted and had me do some over the phone paperwork so we could use their ‘express check out’ when we arrive. We made the drive up to Salem and got there right at noon. They brought the car around and we walked around it. There were some rock chip touchups on the paint, but overall, it was really well taken care of. We test drove it and then went in and finished the sale. After a ribbon pic…

Cat drove it home.

Penny came by a bit later while we were putting our stuff back in from the other car. Of course I had to call my insurance company and get the old one removed and this one added. They said I would be getting a refund for the time from the accident until now for the old car. Nice! We spent the rest of the day resting and watching tv. We went in the spa and then called it a night.

Thursday, May 29th,, 2025…… Today we take the bike in. All we need to do today was to drive it up to Sublimity (about 24 miles) to Power Motorsports. I had already told them what kind of service I needed. But I also had called them when Stan told me the rear brakes were at 10% left, so they could order them and add for today’s appointment.  We left early enough to be able to stop for breakfast but when we got there close to 10:00am, they said they were waiting!  Turns out my appointment for drop off was 9:00am! No worries. I had one of the guys there drive it of the trailer while I checked the ramps for clearance. Turns out we needed a little block to help the bike so it didn’t bottom out. While we were there, we checked out bike helmets. They didn’t have too many choices for radio equipped models and I had already seen what we wanted online so we were more or less looking to check sizing. We found what we needed and noted it for later and headed home. I would hear later with an estimate for parts and labor. They also found the tires are aged out, so they will be replaced as well. Not sure when they will be done. I also needed to call in to our insurance company and add the new car. I got that done and will add the bike next week.

Friday, May 30th., 2025…… Nothing on the agenda for today. Except for housecleaning. We are prepping for the party tomorrow. I vacuumed and Cathye cleaned the bathrooms and dusted. She also made a couple of cakes for the party. She had bought a flat of strawberries and we had cleaned and froze most of them. But she kept some out and also defrosted some blueberries for each of the two cakes she made.  We decided to mow today as well. Penny came by and we all got that done pretty quickly.  Justin was also here working on weed eating and such around the yard. Cathye gave him some specific tasks close by the house so it would look better for the party. We’re not sure if the weather will be ok for the babies outside but we cleaned and blew off the deck just in case. Later, I went online and read reviews about the helmets we want. Not bad except they pretty much said the sizing was off. No worries, we had already found that out when we were at the dealers!  I only ordered mine for now just to make sure the sizing would work. If it doesn’t fit me, maybe it will Cathye. It is supposed to arrive on Monday

Saturday, May 31st., 2025…… The kids got here right at 2:00pm. Penny came early and helped us put out the drinks and such. Everyone showed up and we all got a chance to hold the littles.

After eating and visiting, everyone left. Cathye had asked if I wanted to go to the dance tonight but I begged off because I was tired and I knew she was too. We hung out and watched tv until bedtime.

Oregon Living 2025 – Blog #32 – A Picnic and the Shasta is on the Road!

Sunday, August 17 th. , 2025……   Today was Charlotte’s picnic. Charlotte was our Club caller. We went last year and had a great time, ...
